Our Story
The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney in New Haven, Connecticut. The organization was established on the principles of charity, unity, and fraternity, with a mission to provide financial aid and assistance to the sick, disabled, and needy members and their families. Over the years, the Knights of Columbus has grown into a global organization with millions of members dedicated to community service and charitable works. Council 7077, based in Lower Sackville, continues this proud tradition by actively engaging in various charitable activities and supporting the local community.
